Terms of service

Effective: 14 July 2026

Service description

Mailvator provides public, temporary, receive-only inboxes on an as-available basis. Inbox names are not reserved, messages may be visible to others, and content is normally removed after 24 hours. Delivery, availability and recovery are not guaranteed.

Your responsibility

You are responsible for choosing an appropriate email service for your task and for complying with law and the rules of third-party websites. Do not use Mailvator for sensitive information or any account where loss of access could cause harm.

Prohibited use

You must follow the Acceptable Use Policy. Mailvator may limit, block or investigate activity that threatens users, infrastructure or third parties.

Intellectual property

The Mailvator name, visual identity, website design and original editorial content are protected by applicable rights. You may link to public guides but may not republish substantial content without permission.

Disclaimer and liability

The service is provided without a promise that it will be uninterrupted, secure or suitable for a particular purpose. To the extent permitted by law, Mailvator is not responsible for loss arising from use of a public inbox, expired content, failed delivery or reliance on third-party messages. Nothing here limits rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Changes

These terms may be updated when the service or legal requirements change. Continued use after publication of an update means the revised terms apply to subsequent use.
